Dr. Whitaker is a sports chiropractic physician who graduated from University of Western States in Portland, Oregon with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Masters degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Growing up playing sports year-round he wanted to be a physician traveling with an athletic team treating their musculoskeletal conditions. After marrying his beautiful wife Angeline, and now has a son, he decided constant traveling is not a good way to start a family, so he settled down in the city of Gresham to start his family practice. He treats a lot of spinal conditions but also specializes in extremities (arms and legs) and different muscle techniques. He believes “a doctor is only as strong as the tool box he carries,” meaning if you only do one type of treatment you treat every condition and person as if they were the same, which is not how it is in the real world. He is constantly learning new techniques to be well-equipped for any conditions you may have.

Spontaneity is second nature to me. I moved here from St. Louis on just a two-day notice, and never regretted it.

Spontaneity is second nature to me. I moved here from St. Louis on just a two-day notice, and never regretted it. I compete in kickboxing in my spare time, and I live and breathe any and all kinds of combat sports. If I were to choose between traveling to the moon or traveling anywhere in the world I wanted, I would choose a new, worldly destination. The moon sounds way too lonely (and besides, I hear the food isn’t great.)

Hi, I’m Jasmine! I’m a mom who loves her family time, but also her relaxing time. One talent about me that some people might not know is that I love to play soccer. I also might slightly obsess over reality tv shows, especially The Kardashians. I’m an easygoing person and I love to explore new things and ideas, and not to mention FOOD.

Dr. Emma received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2018 from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), an accredited medical school. She completed her primary internship year followed by two years of a family medicine residency at NUNM where she was clinical faculty. Her clinical education and post-graduate training focused on providing individualized, evidence-based, primary care to a diverse population of patients. She completed specialty rotations in cardiopulmonary medicine, IV therapy, mental health, and women’s health. Additionally, Dr. Emma completed rotations in the emergency department, community health, rural health, and a medical brigade to Nicaragua following her passion for bringing high-quality primary care and naturopathic medicine to underserved populations.

Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Emma received her Bachelor of Science from Portland State University, where she double-majored in General Science and Health Sciences: Health Studies with an emphasis in pre-medical studies. During this time she competed at the collegiate level in track and field, which led to her passion for sports medicine. Dr. Emma is known as Coach Emma at the high school where she is the head track and field coach. Dr. Emma uses her background as a coach and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine to bring movement, fitness, and nutrition to patients to help establish habits that support their overall health and healing.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Emma can be found spending time hiking in the gorge, pole vaulting with her track and field team, singing in choir, or reading a book with a cup of coffee.

My name is Heather, and I’m a family-oriented person who loves to sing. This might come as a surprise to some people, but I’m actually somewhat of a homebody.

I’m a hobby-oriented person who can also appreciate the value of hard work. I love filmography, and I even went to a Seattle convention once just to meet my favorite actor.

One weird talent I have is the ability to smell electricity without ever seeing it. Need to know if thunderstorms are in the forecast? I’m your person.

I’m a small-town type of person, and one thing I really take pride in is my home environment. I love spending a time at home and in my yard. I’m also a big sushi fan! I am always looking for new sushi restaurants, so feel free to give me a shout out if you recommend one!
